2027: Atiku Will Secure at Least 25 Percent of the Votes in the South-West and South-East — Ayodele

Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has predicted that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar will secure at least 25 per cent of the votes in both the South-West and South-East during the 2027 presidential election.

According to The Sun on Sunday, July 5, 2026, Ayodele made the prediction on Friday in Lagos during the public presentation of the 2026/2027 edition of Warnings to the Nations. He said the North would play a decisive role in determining the outcome of the election.

The cleric predicted that Labour Party’s Peter Obi would struggle to gain substantial support in the North, while President Bola Tinubu would also face strong political resistance in the region. He added that Atiku would enjoy stronger backing from traditional rulers, elder statesmen and segments of the international community.

Ayodele also claimed the Arewa Consultative Forum would become divided because of Tinubu’s political activities in the North. He further predicted that both Atiku and Tinubu would each secure about 25 per cent of the votes in the South-West and South-East, while Tinubu would intensify political campaigns and messaging to strengthen his position in the North.
