Former ally of ex-governor Peter Obi, Ikenna Azomchine, expressed his thoughts on the strategy to unseat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 presidential election during an interview with TrustTV News on Thursday, June 11, 2027.
In preparation for the 2027 presidential elections, opposition leaders throughout Nigeria have recently switched political parties in an attempt to find a platform from which to remove the government led by Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
However, during the discussion, Ikenna Azomchine, a former ally of ex-governor Peter Obi, slammed Nigerian opposition leaders for, attacking the ruling administration instead of supporting it.
He further stated that President Bola Tinubu is working and that even former President Muhammadu Buhari, who was not performing well in government, was permitted to finish his term.
According to him, Buhari was not performing well, but the North and everyone let him; this president is doing well.
