Former Anambra State governor and NDC presidential hopeful for 2027, Peter Obi, has praised the talent, creativity, and global impact of young Nigerians following their impressive presence at the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup.

 

 

 

In a message shared on his official X account on Monday, June 15, 2026, Obi said the performances of several young Nigerians on the world stage demonstrated the country’s immense human potential and cultural influence.

 

 

 

He specifically commended Nigerian music stars Davido and Burna Boy for their performances at the global event, describing them as examples of the brilliance and creativity of Nigerian youth.
