Al Jazeera: They Apologized To Me Privately And I Said “Put It On Social Media.” They Said “No” – Bwala

Daniel Bwala says he is pursuing legal action in England over his appearance on Head to Head, alleging he was ambushed during the interview hosted by Mehdi Hasan.

Speaking on The Morayo Afolabi-Brown Show on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, Bwala claimed members of the production team privately admitted the interview was not handled fairly but declined to issue a public apology.

“We are in court in England. They apologized to me privately and I said they should put it on social media. They said they will not put it on social media that it will affect their credibility because it’s not just them but their mother programmers at the Al Jazeera network,” Bwala said.

The APC chieftain maintained that the case is before a court in England and reiterated his claim that he was denied a fair opportunity to present his views during the interview. His allegations regarding the private apology and the circumstances surrounding the interview have not been independently verified.
