Peter Obi has responded to recent remarks by Enoch Adeboye on President Bola Tinubu, saying the key issue is whether the government’s efforts are producing the results Nigerians expect.
Speaking during an interview on With Chude, Obi said he respects Adeboye and agreed with the cleric’s view that Tinubu is trying his best to address the country’s security challenges. However, he argued that leadership should be assessed by outcomes rather than effort alone.
“Pastor Adeboye said Tinubu has tried his best. The question to ask is: Is Tinubu’s best good enough?” Obi said.
The former Anambra State governor maintained that insecurity, including banditry, kidnapping and terrorism, remains a major concern across the country. He argued that government performance should be measured by its ability to improve citizens’ safety and welfare, adding that Nigeria needs leadership capable of delivering more effective results in addressing its security and governance challenges.:::
