Peter Obi Should Prepare His Lawyer; I Have Two Witnesses to Testify Against Them in Court – Arabambi

Labour Party National Working Committee (NWC) member Abayomi Arabambi, aligned with the Julius Abure faction, says he is prepared to pursue legal action over allegations involving Peter Obi, insisting the matter should be resolved by the courts.

Speaking during an interview on Symfoni TV on Thursday, July 9, 2026, Arabambi said judicial proceedings are the appropriate avenue for determining disputes involving public figures and urged all parties to present their cases through the legal process.

“Obi should prepare his lawyer; I have two witnesses to testify against them in court,” Arabambi said, claiming he has witnesses and documentary evidence to support his allegations if the case proceeds.

He argued that such evidence should be examined by the judiciary rather than debated in public, stressing that both sides should have the opportunity to present and challenge evidence in court.

Arabambi added that respect for due process is essential to democratic governance and said confidence in the rule of law depends on allowing the courts to independently determine the merits of any allegations. His claims have not been established by any court.
