Veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko has said he never intended to marry a second wife, attributing the decision to what he described as “excessive desire,” while praising his wife for being supportive.
According to a video published by FeelRightNews TV on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, Kosoko made the remarks during an interview in which he reflected on his personal life, career and experiences.
“I never wanted to marry a second wife, it was excessive desire that made me do so. But I must admit, she is a good wife,” he said.
During the interview, the actor also dismissed allegations linking him to the death of his late wife, denying any involvement.
“I don’t have a hand in my wife’s death. Those accusing me are unfortunate and useless people,” Kosoko said.
The veteran actor also spoke about his long career in the Nigerian film industry, his involvement in politics and the life lessons he has learned over the years, reflecting on the experiences that have shaped his career and personal life.
