Arsenal have completed the signing of Spain international goalkeeper Misa Rodríguez following the expiration of her contract with Real Madrid.
According to a Daily Post report published on July 22, 2026, the 27-year-old joins the Women’s Super League club on a free transfer after an impressive spell with the Spanish side, where she made 215 appearances. Rodríguez has also earned 24 caps for Spain.
She will strengthen Arsenal’s goalkeeping options alongside Daphne van Domselaar, Anneke Borbe and Isabella Damm as manager Renée Slegers prepares for the new domestic and European campaigns.
Rodríguez becomes Arsenal’s seventh signing of the summer transfer window, joining Isabella Damm, Georgia Stanway, Geraldine Reuteler, Selina Cerci, Ona Batlle and Lisa Baum.
She is also the club’s fifth free-transfer acquisition this summer, underlining Arsenal’s strategy of adding experienced, high-quality players without paying transfer fees as they continue to build a squad capable of competing for major honours next season.
