Nigerian musician Adejoke Tella has alleged that she left her husband’s home out of concern for her safety and that of their child after he reportedly confessed to seeking wealth through a money ritual.
Speaking in an interview with Biola Adeboye Ent., Tella said her suspicions began in 2016 when she noticed her husband repeatedly entering an unused room in their house late at night and locking it after leaving. She said he later told her he and a friend had travelled to Ipetu to consult a herbalist.
According to Tella, her husband claimed the herbalist instructed them to complete a specific task within one week or face severe consequences.
“He explained that he went to a herbalist with his friend at Ipetu for money ritual… He said they went for money ritual and the man asked them to do something and they had to do it within a week else one of them would die and the other would run mad,” she said.
Tella further alleged that her husband began displaying unusual behaviour about a week later, prompting her to leave the marriage because she feared remaining in the house could endanger both her and their child.
