Dele Momodu, a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has described Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke as more than a friend, saying the two share a lifelong bond that makes him regard the governor as his “twin brother.”
Speaking during an interview on Channels Television, Momodu explained that Adeleke was born on May 13, 1960, while he was born three days later, on May 16, 1960.
He said their friendship has endured for decades despite belonging to different political parties, adding that political differences have never affected their personal relationship.
Momodu also described Adeleke as a peaceful man, saying he knows the governor well because of their longstanding friendship.
He said, “It is good that you noted that Governor Ademola Adeleke is my friend. He is not just my friend, he is my twin brother. We were born in the same year. He was born on May 13, 1960, and I was born three days after, on May 16, 1960. We have been friends forever, so I should know him very well. He is a man of peace. We are not in the same party, but that does not stop us from relating and interacting.”
