Labour Party National Working Committee member Abayomi Arabambi, aligned with the Julius Abure faction, has commented on the political relationship between former presidential candidate Peter Obi and activist Aisha Yesufu.
Speaking during an interview on Symfoni TV on Thursday, July 9, 2026, Arabambi alleged that Obi and Yesufu share a close political alliance that has influenced developments within the opposition.
“Aisha Yesufu cannot stay where Obi is not; they are birds of the same feather,” Arabambi said.
He argued that political alliances are often built on shared objectives and claimed that Obi and Yesufu have remained closely aligned throughout recent political events, although he did not provide evidence to support the assertion.
Arabambi added that relationships between political figures can shape the growth and direction of political movements. He urged Nigerians to continue observing political developments while allowing the appropriate institutions to handle any issues through due process.
