Nigerian Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that he spends between $200,000 and $300,000 (approximately N300 million to N400 million) every month, describing the cost of maintaining his celebrity lifestyle as expensive.
Davido made the disclosure during a recent livestream with streamer Davrel, where he explained that his monthly spending covers only his personal expenses.
“I spend between $200,000 and $300,000 every month and that doesn’t even include my wife’s expenses or the rest of my household,” he said.
The award-winning singer added that the figure also excludes the cost of purchasing luxury cars and jewellery.
“It also doesn’t include expenses for the purchase of luxury cars and jewellery,” he added.
Davido’s comments provide a glimpse into the financial demands of his lifestyle as one of Africa’s biggest music stars, with the expenses he cited covering only a portion of his overall spending.
