His mom had been sick since we started dating. Because I’m a nurse, I took it upon myself to help his mom anytime she needed help. I have spent some weekends with her trying to help her recover. I take her to the hospital and use my position to get her quick access to doctors. When she needed a drug that the hospital didn’t have, I went out of my way to call other facilities until I got some.

His mom became my mom too from the very first day he took me home and introduced her to me. I would be visiting his mom when he himself didn’t even know I was going there. He had come home to meet me there on several occasions when he didn’t know he would find me there.
His mom would lay her hands on my head and bless me, and also bless her son for bringing someone like me home.
And then he cheated.
And then he cheated again with the same lady.
And then Suzzy came along.
That girl had the audacity to attack me and warn me to stay away from her husband. She didn’t call him boyfriend oo. Husband.
I always forgave him when he came to beg and show a little remorse. I was forgiving because of his mom. I had come to love that woman so much that I would forgive my boyfriend’s waywardness because of her.
And then one evening, after I had returned from his mom’s place to his house, I met Suzzy in his room wearing the same big T-shirt that I wear when I visit him.
Suzzy attacked me when she saw me. “What are you looking for here? Didn’t I warn you to stay away from my husband?”
He stood firm, dragged Suzzy out of his room and told me to stay. I also left and that was the end of our relationship.
I was so hurt I wanted to forget about everything concerning him and move on but his mom keeps calling and each time she calls, I obey. She doesn’t know I’ve broken up with her son. When he gets to know I’m at his mom’s place, he comes around, touching me and pretending we are okay. My skin crawls. I hate him with a passion and because of him, I want to block his mother’s line so she doesn’t reach out to me.

The more I stay with her, the more her son gets access to me and it hurts. Do you think it’s a good idea?
It hurts me to think about it this way but what else can I do?
