I Don’t Like Discussing the 2023 Election Because You Know I Won That Election and It Was Rigged — Obi

Peter Obi has reiterated his belief that he won Nigeria’s 2023 presidential election, alleging that the poll was rigged and saying he prefers not to dwell on the outcome.

Speaking in a video shared by Advocacy For Good Governance, Obi said he has moved on from the 2023 election and is now focused on the future.

“It is an election I don’t like discussing because you know I won that election and it was rigged, but that is not a problem,” Obi said.

The former presidential candidate expressed confidence ahead of the 2027 general election, arguing that the next contest would be between the Nigerian people and the incumbent government rather than political parties alone.

According to Obi, many Nigerians are dissatisfied with the country’s current situation and are determined to bring about change through the ballot.

“It is my belief that the next election is between the Nigerian people and the government in office… the Nigerian public has had enough,” he said, adding that he remains confident of victory in the 2027 presidential election.
