I Don’t Need to Sleep With Anyone to Make Money — Sarah Martins

Actress and entrepreneur Sarah Martins has dismissed claims that her success is tied to transactional relationships, saying her achievements are the result of hard work, discipline and entrepreneurship.

According to a Punch report published on Saturday, July 4, 2026, Martins told Saturday Beats that she has built her acting career and businesses through careful planning, self-belief and perseverance rather than personal connections or outside influence.

Describing herself as a serial entrepreneur, she said balancing her entertainment career with multiple business ventures has required resilience, strategic planning and a commitment to embracing new opportunities.

Martins also highlighted her philanthropic work, revealing that she has personally funded a weekly outreach programme for the past eight years without sponsorship or external support.

“I cook once every week. So in a month, I spend no less than N2m. In a year, that’s about N24m, and over eight years, it adds up to about N192m from my pocket,” she said.

The actress said the initiative reflects her commitment to supporting vulnerable people and remains one of her core personal values despite its significant financial cost.
