An engineer has cried out after allegedly discovering that some of the materials supplied to him as granite were actually baked clay.
In a video shared online, he compared the materials with what he described as genuine granite, showing how some of the stones easily broke apart and washed off in his hand.
According to him, the whitish materials mixed with the granite were not stones but baked clay moulded to resemble granite.
“You can see, this is hard clay. See the way they wash from my hand. This is not granite, this is clay,” he said while demonstrating the material.
The engineer went on to compare the suspected clay with actual granite, pointing out the visible differences between both materials.
He also claimed that several similar pieces could be found among the supplied materials.
