Israel Defense Minister Says IDF Ready to Strike Iran With Force if Missile Attacks Continue — Yingst

Israel’s Defence Minister, Israel Katz, has said the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are prepared to launch military action against Iran if missile attacks by the Iranian regime continue, according to a Fox News report.

Reporting from Tel Aviv, Fox News Chief Foreign Correspondent Trey Yingst said Israel remains on high military alert even as diplomatic efforts continue in parallel.

“The IDF has been instructed to prepare against Iran and remains on alert. He said Israel would strike Iran with force if more missiles are launched by the regime,” Yingst said, referring to Katz’s remarks.

According to the report, the IDF has been directed to prepare for a possible independent operation against Iran while maintaining readiness to respond to further threats.

At the same time, diplomatic talks are continuing in Doha, Qatar, where officials are working on issues related to Iran’s nuclear programme and security in the Strait of Hormuz.

Summarising the situation, Yingst said, “The bottom line is the ceasefire is holding and there are parallel diplomatic tracks playing out in real time,” highlighting the simultaneous pursuit of military preparedness and diplomatic engagement.
