Juventus have reportedly moved closer to signing Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee after the Dutch striker agreed to personal terms for a return to Serie A.
According to a Metro report published on July 22, 2026, Juventus are keen to strengthen their attack and have identified Zirkzee as a priority target while continuing efforts to retain Randal Kolo Muani. Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the 24-year-old is open to returning to Italy, where he previously impressed with Bologna.
Juventus sporting director Ricky Massara is reportedly leading negotiations with Manchester United and has long admired the Netherlands international.
Manchester United are said to be willing to sell Zirkzee as manager Michael Carrick continues reshaping his squad. The Premier League club are reportedly seeking between €35 million and €40 million, although Juventus could propose an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy.
Zirkzee, who joined United from Bologna for £36.5 million in 2024, has scored five Premier League goals and nine in all competitions across 75 appearances. Increased competition from Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Šeško has cast doubt over his long-term future at Old Trafford.
