My Boyfriend Wants to End Our Relationship Because of a Terrible Nightmare He Had – Silent Beads Media

My boyfriend had been acting strangely for the past few days, and I honestly didn’t know what to make of it.

One day, he wants to be my boyfriend. He’s calling, checking on me, and wanting to know everything that’s going on in my life. Then the next day, it’s like I don’t even exist. He doesn’t care whether I stayed up all night or how I’m feeling. The sudden change has been confusing, and I don’t like it at all.

I kept asking him what was wrong because I couldn’t understand why he was treating me so differently. Every time I brought it up, he blamed it on work stress. He told me that, of all people, I should understand the pressure that comes with his job.

And I do understand.

The problem is that his job was just as demanding when we first started dating, yet back then he still had time and energy for me. He was affectionate, attentive, and consistent. Now, his energy has dropped completely. Something just didn’t feel right, so I refused to stop asking questions.

I even asked him why he was treating me like I was the one who begged him to be in a relationship, when in reality, he was the one who pursued me.

Eventually, he opened up. He said he had a dream. According to him, someone appeared in the dream and warned him that the two of us needed to stay away from each other. If we didn’t, things would not end well for either of us.

He said he told his sister about the dream, and she advised him that if that was the case, then it meant they were being warned. Her advice was that we either end the relationship or visit a pastor for prayers if we still wanted to be together.

But his response was that he didn’t want to involve any third party in his personal affairs, so he would rather choose to end the relationship.

That is the problem with him right now. He is conflicted about whether he wants to break up with me or not, and that explains why he has been so hot and cold with me. He said he loves me and doesn’t want to lose me. Another reason he has been struggling with the decision is that he doesn’t want me to think he only came into my life to use me and then dump me. He also said that even if we broke up, he would still be there for me whenever I needed him.

Hearing all of this left me confused and heartbroken. To make things even harder, I’ve been dealing with some family problems lately. There are days I wake up crying, and he has always been the one who comforts me.

One day, after comforting me again, he looked at me and told me he wasn’t going to break up with me anymore.

I felt relieved. But that relief didn’t last long.

The very next day, we had an argument, and during it, he told me he didn’t want us to continue dating. Now I’m completely lost. I don’t know whether I should fight for this relationship by pleading with him to reconsider or whether I should accept his decision and move on with my life. So I’m asking you, what would you do if you were in my shoes? Would you try to save the relationship, or would you walk away?
