
2027 Presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore, has kicked against calls for the boycott of South African singer Tyla’s concert in Lagos.Â

On Tuesday, Tyla released the schedule for her world tour which shows she is billed for a concert in Lagos on December 22.

Some Nigerians including On air personality, Dotun have called for the boycott of the concert following the recent xenophobic attacks in South Africa.

In a post shared on Facebook this morning, Sowore argued that there is no justification for Tyla or any other artiste to be cancelled because of the Xenophobic attacks on Nigerians unless there is empirical evidence to prove that they are enablers of such attacks.

He also argued that the anger from Nigerians should be directed at the Federal government who according to him, has reduced Nigerians to second-class citizens in Africa and the rest of the world
