Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek has made it clear that the club is not considering a summer sale of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, dismissing speculation over his future despite mounting interest from top European clubs.
Özbek issued the strong statement during an interview with Sabah, acknowledging that interest from Europe’s top clubs was inevitable given Osimhen’s outstanding performances, but stressed that Galatasaray’s stance remains clear.
“It is very natural for every successful player at Galatasaray to be on the radar of major European clubs.
“This shows that our club is doing the right things. However, our priority is Galatasaray’s interests. Osimhen is a world-class player, and he is happy here. We have no intention to sell Osimhen,” Özbek said.
The 27-year-old delivered one of the finest individual seasons in the club’s recent history in 2025-26, scoring 22 goals and providing eight assists in 33 appearances across all competitions to contribute directly to 30 goals.
His form helped Galatasaray claim a fourth consecutive Süper Lig title and reach the UEFA Champions League round of 16.
