Joshua Iginla has urged people to examine their character and personal choices instead of attributing every challenge to spiritual attacks or external enemies.
Speaking during a sermon published by Joshua Iginla Ministries on June 25, 2026, the founder of Champions Royal Assembly said many of life’s greatest battles originate from within rather than external forces.
“The greatest war in the life of a man is not outside; it’s internal world,” Iginla said, stressing the need for individuals to confront their thoughts, attitudes and actions before blaming unseen forces for their difficulties.
The cleric also criticised what he described as the growing tendency to seek help from spiritualists or “witch doctors” over issues that require personal responsibility and self-examination.
“Witch doctor, buffing by riverside on issues they should address internally,” he said, arguing that many people pursue mystical solutions for problems rooted in their own decisions and behaviour.
Iginla maintained that lasting transformation begins with an honest assessment of one’s character, mindset and choices. While acknowledging the importance of spiritual guidance, he said it should complement—not replace—personal responsibility, self-discipline and wisdom in overcoming challenges.
