Reactions Trail Photos of School That Alex Otti Invited Minister of Education to Commission in Abia

Photos of the newly commissioned Ogbo Central Smart School in Abia State have generated reactions on social media after Governor Alex Otti shared images of the project on his official X account.

In the post, Otti said the Ogbo Central Smart School is the first of 20 smart schools planned across Abia State’s 17 local government areas and three senatorial districts. He added that the project was commissioned alongside the Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa, whom he thanked for honouring the invitation.

Highlighting his administration’s education agenda, the governor said the state continues to allocate 20 percent of its annual budget to education, focusing on improved infrastructure, teacher recruitment and retraining, as well as free and compulsory basic education.

“We continue to dedicate 20% of our annual budget to education through improved infrastructure, teacher recruitment and retraining, and our policy of free and compulsory basic education,” Otti wrote.

The post attracted mixed reactions from social media users, with many commenting on the school’s facilities and the government’s investment in the education sector.
