The Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries International, Johnson Suleman, has cautioned Christians against what he described as the growing practice of analysing miracles through human reasoning, warning that it could weaken faith in God’s power.
Speaking during a recent sermon, Suleman said the devil’s methods in the end times often appear through doctrinal disputes and arguments over the manifestation of God’s power rather than obvious temptations.
“This end time it comes as doctrine, doctrinal difference. This end time it comes as people arguing the manifestation of power. Miracles are happening. People are trying to analyse it. That’s the devil at work,” he said.
Suleman argued that while the Bible serves as a guide for Christian doctrine, it should not be used to dismiss what believers consider genuine miracles.
Referring to debates over “miracle money,” he said constant questioning of supernatural events could discourage people from believing that God still performs miracles.
“There are people that argue miracle money… What they are doing is damaging the faith of people because very soon those people won’t believe in miracles anymore,” he said.
The cleric added that similar scepticism could arise over miraculous healings and restoration of organs, urging Christians to hold firmly to Mark 10:27, which states, “With God all things are possible.”
