Broadcaster Seun Okinbaloye questioned former Labour Party Chairman Julius Abure over his continued public comments about former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi during an interview on Channels Television on June 9, 2026.
The discussion centered on Abure’s repeated references to Obi despite the former Anambra State governor’s departure from the Labour Party.

Addressing Abure directly, he said: “Mr Peter Obi has since left your party, yet you are still going after him, you still continue to talk about him, what’s this fixation about Peter Obi, did he collect your girlfriend, did he steal anything from you?”
