According to a report by The PUNCH on Saturday, August 1, 2026, street-pop singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has explained why he walked out of his celebrity boxing rematch against Nollywood actor Charles Okocha.
Portable, who was later disqualified from the bout at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, alleged that Okocha abandoned boxing for wrestling tactics during the contest. He also claimed he was attacked by more than one person and sustained injuries.

In a video shared on Instagram, the singer displayed marks on his body and alleged that Okocha bit him during the fight.
“They said he eats Molly. He didn’t see Molly anymore. So he ate my back,” Portable said while showing an injury on his back.
Portable maintained that he had landed more punches before the bout descended into a wrestling-like scuffle, prompting him to leave the ring. He said his music career and public image were more important than the prize money.
Although he later returned, officials disqualified him for leaving the ring before the end of the opening round, awarding victory to Okocha in the “Unfinished Business” rematch.:::
