I Knew Two Babies Were Brought Out From My Womb, but Only Saw One – Ogun Mother Laments Missing Child

An Ogun State woman, Oluwatosin Bankole, has alleged that one of her twin babies went missing after childbirth, claiming the hospital where she delivered and members of her husband’s family know the child’s whereabouts.

In a video shared by PUNCH News on X, Bankole said multiple medical scans during her pregnancy confirmed she was carrying twins. She claimed that after undergoing surgery and regaining consciousness, she was given only one baby despite being told that two children had been delivered.

“I knew two babies were brought out from me, but I only saw one,” she said, adding that she has never received a satisfactory explanation for the alleged disappearance. Bankole also claimed her mother-in-law, who knew she was expecting twins, later told her the babies had “become one,” an explanation she rejected.

She further alleged that her mother-in-law and her husband’s younger sibling assaulted her three to four days after the operation while she was still recovering.

Bankole said she remains determined to uncover the truth about the alleged disappearance of her second twin. As of the time of reporting, neither the hospital nor the family members she accused had publicly responded to the allegations.
