I Was Told My Mom Found It Difficult to Give Birth to Me & I Remained in Her Womb for 3 Days — Okutepa

Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Jibrin Samuel Okutepa has recounted the circumstances surrounding his birth, saying he was told his mother endured three days of labour before delivering him.

Speaking in an interview on KaaTruths, Okutepa said there was neither a hospital nor a good road in his village at the time, making access to medical care impossible.

According to him, one of his father’s friends, who was knowledgeable in traditional childbirth and herbal remedies, recommended herbs that were administered to his mother. He said the treatment was successful and she eventually gave birth to him.

“The story of my coming to where God has brought me now is as excruciating as the story of my birth. I was told that my mother found it difficult to give birth to me and I was told that I remained in her womb for three whole days and there was no hospital or road,” Okutepa said.

Okutepa added that he was born on January 1, 1960.
