Ada Ogbu has dismissed claims by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, regarding the security arrangements of Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi.
In a post shared on her X account, Ogbu said she was among the team that accompanied Obi on July 4 and denied the allegation that a police officer served as his driver.
“As a member of the team that accompanied Mr. Peter Obi on July 4, I can state categorically that he does not have a policeman as his driver,” Ogbu wrote, adding that she witnessed the events firsthand and that the claim does not reflect what occurred during the trip.
Her response follows Keyamo’s earlier remarks about Obi’s airport visit and has generated mixed reactions on social media, with some users supporting Ogbu’s account while others continued to debate the issue.
