Fashion and beauty influencer Valeria Marquez was k!lled in her Jalisco beauty salon in May 2025 after a gunman stormed the business and sh0t her in the chest and head.

Marquez was broadcasting to her tens of thousands of followers when the assassin entered the salon and could be heard asking off-camera if her name was Valeria.

The 23-year-old’s body then slumped onto the table, and a woman could be seen rushing to turn the livestream off.

Álvarez Ayala allegedly organized Marquez’s murd£r after receiving a call from his son, Francisco Álvarez, who was previously in a relationship with the influencer, according to Omar García Harfuch, Mexico’s Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection.

“He [Álvarez] had threatened her on several occasions, and everything indicates, and this will be proven, that the son asked his father, R-1, to carry out the femicide,” the official said.

Cops have not yet arrested Francisco Álvarez or the gunman who carried out the ass@ss!nation.

Just hours before the slaying, Marquez had shared a selfie on her Instagram Story of herself posing in the salon.
