Israel: They Proved in the 12-Day War That 200 Warplanes Could Fly Into Iran Without Incident, Traiman Says

Alex Traiman, Chief Executive Officer of the Jerusalem News Syndicate (JNS), says Israeli military officials revealed that about 200 Israeli warplanes entered Iranian airspace undetected during the opening phase of the recent 12-day conflict with Iran.

Speaking on Jerusalem Minute in a video posted by JNS TV on Monday, June 29, 2026, Traiman cited remarks made by Yoav Stein, head of Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, at the JNS International Policy Summit in Jerusalem.

“The head of Rafael, Yoav Stein, was there and talked about the first ten minutes of the war and how Iran was not able to see 200 planes flying into its territory,” Traiman said.

According to Traiman, the summit brought together more than 230 speakers over three days, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Isaac Herzog and Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar.

He said the disclosure highlighted Israel’s air superiority and the failure of Iran’s air defence network during the operation. Traiman also stated that the campaign, conducted alongside the United States under Operation Epic Fury, dismantled Iran’s nuclear weapons programme and significantly degraded its ballistic missile production capacity, adding that its full impact had not been widely recognised internationally.
