From the Day Tinubu Was Inaugurated, He Started Politicking and Not Delivering the Services—Galadima

Buba Galadima, a chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has accused President Bola Tinubu of prioritising politics over governance since assuming office.

According to Daily Post, Galadima made the remarks during an appearance on Arise Television’s Morning Show on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. He alleged that the Tinubu administration has sought to weaken opposition parties, claiming the effort is being supported by the National Assembly.

Galadima argued that the government’s focus on political activities has come at the expense of service delivery and democratic accountability, adding that Nigerians’ expectations have not been met since the administration took office.

“For the last two years I have been criticizing the APC and its government because from the day Tinubu was inaugurated as Nigeria’s president, he started politicking and not delivering the services and democratic dividends to the people of Nigeria,” he said.

He maintained that his criticism of the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administration has been consistent over the past two years, citing what he described as shortcomings in governance and efforts to diminish the influence of opposition parties.
