Actress and entrepreneur Sarah Martins says she has spent about ₦192 million of her personal income over the past eight years on weekly humanitarian outreach programmes.
According to Punch Newspaper on Saturday, July 4, 2026, Martins made the disclosure during an interview with Saturday Beats, where she described herself as a serial entrepreneur whose success is rooted in strategic planning, self-confidence and hard work, rejecting claims that her achievements stem from transactional relationships.
She said she has built her acting career and business ventures through determination, resilience and innovation while remaining committed to creating opportunities independently.
Highlighting her charitable activities, Martins said she personally funds a weekly outreach programme without external sponsorship.
“I cook once every week. So in a month, I spend no less than ₦2m. In a year, that’s about ₦24m, and over eight years, it adds up to about ₦192m from my pocket,” she said.
Martins said she has sustained the initiative because of her commitment to supporting people in need and giving back to society.
