The Edo State Police Command has arrested a suspected kidnapper linked to the abduction of a woman at the Vegetable Market in Benin City.
During interrogation, the suspect admitted to participating in the kidnapping, revealing that the victim was abducted on Sunday and later released after a ransom was paid.
The suspect also reportedly told police that two cartridges were recovered from him during his arrest and claimed that the firearm used in the operation had been handed over to another member of the gang.
