Arsenal F.C. have reportedly agreed in principle to sell Leandro Trossard for €20 million, with Beşiktaş J.K. leading the race for the Belgian winger.
According to Football Transfers on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, Trossard, 31, has been among Belgium’s standout performers at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, scoring two goals and providing an assist, including a strong display in a 5-1 victory over New Zealand. Belgium are set to face Senegal in the Round of 32.
With one year remaining on his Arsenal contract, the club are reportedly willing to sell rather than risk losing value. Manager Mikel Arteta is expected to strengthen the left wing, with Christos Tzolis among the players being monitored.
Reports from Turkey claim Beşiktaş are prepared to meet Arsenal’s €20 million valuation after missing out on Trossard last summer. However, the player has reportedly postponed transfer talks until Belgium’s World Cup campaign ends. Saudi Arabian clubs are also said to be monitoring the situation as Beşiktaş seek to complete a deal before their UEFA Champions League qualifying campaign begins.
