Chelsea Set Trevoh Chalobah Asking Price As Summer Exit Talks Continue

Chelsea are reportedly willing to consider offers for defender Trevoh Chalobah this summer as the club reshapes its squad ahead of the new season.

According to Football London, the Blues have set an asking price of around €30 million (£26 million) plus performance-related bonuses for the 27-year-old centre-back. As a homegrown player, any transfer fee received would count as pure profit under Financial Fair Play regulations.

Chelsea’s defensive options are expected to increase with the returns of Axel Disasi and Aaron Anselmino from loan spells, while the club remains in talks over a potential move for Crystal Palace defender Maxence Lacroix, reportedly a key target for manager Xabi Alonso.

Chalobah is among several defenders linked with possible departures, alongside Wesley Fofana, Benoit Badiashile and Mamadou Sarr, as Chelsea seek to streamline their squad.

Serie A side Como, managed by former Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, are reported to be interested in signing Chalobah. However, Financial Fair Play restrictions could make it difficult for the Italian club to meet Chelsea’s valuation.

Chalobah has two years remaining on his contract, with Chelsea holding an option to extend the deal by a further year. Reports suggest he has fallen down the club’s defensive pecking order and could be open to a move in search of regular playing time.
